Voidfold Exchange
A complete architectural reimagining of Fractal Citadel’s cooperative market. A broad, medium-height freestanding structure has four equally active public façades around an open square central court. Its unmistakable silhouette is an elevated, hollow, inverted stepped crown: three square annular tiers grow wider as they rise, with flat horizontal roof surfaces and a large square light well left continuously open through all three tiers. The lowest ring is narrowest, the middle projects farther outward, and the uppermost is widest; each successive outward projection is modest enough to be carried by visible diagonal brackets. The internal light-well edges align vertically so no tier bridges or covers the central void. The total outer width is about one and a half times the height; this is a substantial marketplace rather than a slender tower.
Four stout white crystalline corner piers on low black stone feet fork twice into short angular brackets, supporting continuous white perimeter beams beneath the elevated storage ring. All members are straight and faceted with broad structural junctions. Each corner carries both adjoining sides and their overhangs; do not float any tier. Thick closed black vitreous-stone vault masses occupy the upper ring’s four corners. Between them, dark ceramic screen cassettes wrap all four outward faces of the raised ring, with a large square opening in each cassette, smaller square apertures around it, and a final tiny square generation in selected borders. Maintain thick unperforated structural edges. Violet translucent mineral panels close storage chambers behind the screens, while deep cyan-lit reveals preserve the reading of hollow negative space. Thin white ceramic coping caps each stepped tier, providing a crisp three-line profile around all four elevations; keep the broad black faces dominant.
Below the overhanging vaults, each of the four sides has a generous centered rectangular passage into the central court, flanked by two low violet mineral trading counters on solid black bases, for eight counters total. Counters occupy short perimeter segments without obstructing the passages. Side-facing doors in the four corner feet conceal storage lifts, preventing any façade from becoming a blank loading wall. South counters are lowered for trading; the north has one closed violet collection hatch and one open counter; east counters incorporate patchwork salvaged violet panels in white ceramic splines; west counters use larger clouded panes. All four entrances have equivalent white threshold strips and deep overhead shade, with small asymmetric glazing differences providing lived-in character within the coherent structure.
The exposed undersides of the three overhanging steps contain recessed square cyan light slots repeating at decreasing sizes. From above, read three stepped square perimeter bands, four closed corner vault roofs and the uninterrupted dark square opening in the center; the court has flat obsidian paving with a subtle inset square white boundary. No pitched roofs, linear rear storage bar, blank side or rear elevation, broad gold cladding, signs, loose merchandise, unrelated machinery or ungrounded pieces. Keep the cooperative market’s reclaimed violet mineral, white branching structure and black ceramic palette, but replace the original building’s entire massing and roof arrangement.

MOTIF-RICH REVISION
Use the supplied motif sheet as the exact architectural vocabulary, adapting its components structurally to this building. Retain the four-sided market and hollow upward-widening crown but make its recursion physical and deep, not a scattering of small decorative windows. On EACH face, turn the central entrance into the Hollow Square Portal: a large square opening with thick black piers and lintel, medium square perforations in its surrounding bands and tiny square cutouts within those borders, with polished cyan-lit reveals and a white threshold. Flank that opening with one Violet Recursion Shutter, four separate square leaves each quartered into four panes, and one Inherited Patch Panel assembled from unequal cloudy violet squares in white ceramic splines; vary which is open and the salvage arrangement between faces.
Integrate two upright triangular Sierpinski Screen Cassettes per face into the upper vault band, one on either side of its central square opening. Each is a single triangular black ceramic screen in a white triangular frame with three corner clamps and three scales of inverted triangular perforations, closing a recessed violet chamber; do not turn the whole building into a triangular prism. Keep thick solid black corner vaults and clear square geometry for the main mass. Expose the Continuous Branch Joint at all four corners: broad white crystal piers divide twice into smaller straight angled arms carrying the adjacent perimeter beams. Seat diagonal bracket feet in three nested triangular collars with white bearing surfaces and black protective rims, including a narrow cyan socket slit. This structural detail remains subordinate to the crown.
The crown has exactly THREE raised annular storage tiers with successively larger OUTER square footprints from bottom to top, the topmost widest, and the same open inner square light well all the way through. No taper toward the top. Use the Stepped Hollow Parapet at each outer corner, three square notches with individual thin white ceramic caps and tiny cyan-lit holes. Beneath selected outer corner terraces, adapt the Prismatic Chime Edge: a short black fascia stepping down three times with three short hollow square-ended white chimes, hung inside the shelter line so entrances remain clear. Each face has two trading counters and visually substantial architecture, including the rear. A few hairline iridescent gold inlays are allowed only at branching junctions and chime attachments; no broad gold trim. Show fewer larger well-resolved motif assemblies instead of many generic square windows.
