Generation record ↗A 1970s plastic lagoon city where the future is as comfortable as a conversation pit.
Lagoon city of 1970s optimism where everything built is plastic: communal leisure, household automation and mass-produced abundance. Polymer cooperatives founded it; residents keep replacing its surfaces and wear precise, conspicuous repairs as proof they intend to stay, certain that tomorrow will be easier to clean.
Sculpted lagoon archipelago: a flat founding island shelf, sweeping cream crescents, rounded polymer quays, inset coves and satellite leisure islands joined by dry causeways over luminous turquoise water. Avocado recreation decks and persimmon shade structures; matte surfaces in warm sun and glare; no alpine terrain or wooden palms, every landscape element synthetic.
Three traditions in plastic: additive terraces of ribbed thermoplastic panels on cellular rafts, with rolled-edge tray roofs, recessed doors, amber acrylic windows behind deep hoods and residents' greenhouse and pod additions; municipal flattened domes and long halls on composite ribs, with curled shell edges, sunken plazas, smoked window bands, ivory gelcoat and orange service ducts; square, economical manufacturing portals with corrugated skins, sawtooth rooflights and swollen vent tubes. Oversized joints, molded edges and mottled flake-terrazzo repairs tie them together.
Small reuse economy of water, food and building parts: the Rain Fan Farm grows hydroponic produce and harvests rain on the lagoon margin, the Second Mold Exchange remolds households' returned plastic into parts, and Apricot Court homes consume water and food and supply labour. Start with one Court, eight couriers and a modest stock; the goal is The Common Tomorrow, a civic build of parts, produce and water reachable without crossing open water.

Avocado molded-plastic panels give Polara a recognizable everyday appliance surface; butter-colored lettering, persimmon action keys and tobacco seams come from its housing screens, service pipes and amber windows. Broad Unbounded headings suggest optimistic 1970s civic signage while Roboto Flex keeps dense instructions readable. Deep rounded panel corners and short solid shadows echo rolled shell edges and replaceable molded controls. Selected controls use a pale amber insert with dark lettering; warnings pair their warm color with explicit text and icons. Focus stays visibly outlined, disabled actions retain labels, and navigation order remains conventional. The tone is friendly, communal and practical, with short direct action labels.
Shared placeholder icons · Chunky single-color molded pictograms with rounded ends and deep open counters: a three-leaf sprout for food, an interlocking loop for reclaimed polymer, a hooded window for homes and a shallow dome for civic life; use the same accessible labels and semantic meanings as the default interface, and accompany warning and confirmation colors with distinct symbols and text.

A leisurely electronic commons: rounded pulse melody, rubbery bass, warm organ chords and small dry clicks, opening into spacious lagoon haze beyond the city.
Air texture, low haze chords and widely spaced glass-synth fragments of the same five-note tune suggest light over the lagoon; glass-water describes the engine timbre, not a change to plastic architecture.
A rounded pulse lead answers a rubber bass over warm organ chords; a restrained dust beat and occasional dry recorded clicks suggest comfortable, working plastic mechanisms.
